Adding Files
[edit] Images

Adding images to the Samsung Glyde can be accomplished by going to the tree menu pane of BitPim, expanding the Phone submenu, then the Media submenu, and finally highlighting the Images option. From there either click the Add or Remove buttons near the top left of the BitPim window, or just drag images directly onto the right pane to add them.
[edit] Music

As of 12/5/2007 BitPim will not correctly add music to the Samsung Glyde via the Media tab, so it must be done manually through the filesystem. First make sure that the music file is in a format supported by the Voyager (mp3, wma, aac, wav, etc) and then navigate in the filesystem view to the music folder and drag and drop the files into the pane on the far right. You should see the progress bar on the lower part of the screen start slowly advancing, be patient as it does this for every song. If your audio files have tagging information it will be picked up by the music player on the phone and they will be sorted out based on the tags for Artist, Album, Genre, etc. The files appear instantly on the Voyager after transfer and there is no need to restart the phone.
[edit] Video

As of 12/3/2007 BitPim will not correctly add video to the Samsung Glyde via the Media tab, so it must be done manually through the filesystem. To add video to the Samsung Glyde first convert it to the .3g2 format with a transcoder. SUPER(tm) does this on windows XP and a current version can be found on the Afterdawn Forums. Navigate to the Video folder in the Voyager's filesystem, then drag and drop the .3g2 file into the right pane. After the transfer is complete the phone will have to be turned off then back on for the video to show up in the My Videos section of the phone.

Also if you have Quicktime Pro you can convert videos for your phone! Just get Quicktime Pro (Thats up to you!)

Now once that's installed on you computer
load the compatible video you would like to convert into quicktime pro.

Now Choose File -> Export
Choose where to save the output of the converted file then set the conversion parrameters
For export choose: Movie to 3G
For Use: 3GPP2 - Release A
Now Click Save
and you will have your converted file for your phone.
