I don't know what happened but now I can't press the bottom 4 buttons (Phone, Ph. Book, Web, Menu) on the screen.  The calibration is way off! Everything is a whole button lower.
How can you fix this?

I tried to follow the steps to fix a bricked memoir

but that didn't help. I tried to follow the steps but when I plug in the USB cord to the phone, it tries to install a driver but fails.  It tries to install "SAMSUNG CDMA Technologies" but it can't install it.

This is what it says on the phone, "DEMSBL BOOT Loader for MSM6280 Downloader ver. 5.43"

So what can I do to fix this?
