Ok, so here's the deal. I bought this phone like a week and a day ago supposedly new and unopened from someone on craigslist. When I got it all the seals were closed and it looked like everything was indeed new and unopened. I was loving the new phone until last Tuesday night I noticed the weather widget doesn't work anymore and I can't get on t-zones. Both worked when I first got the phone. Went to tmobile and they said it was the phone. They also said that since I didn't buy the phone that I'm not covered under tmobile's warranty. I don't really care about t-zones(just a lot of overpriced crud) but I found the weather widget useful in the short time I used it. Do you think I should demand a refund from the guy I bought it from, give it to him to use for a day(so then it's registered in his name) and then have him return it to tmobile under the warranty or go to a samsung store and try to haggle my way into a replacement without the receipt? Or better yet, anyone know how to fix this problem?
I suppose I can live without knowing the weather or t-zones but I'm worried if I decide to get a data plan that it might not work.

Did you try a master reset?

can anybody provide me the master key so that I can make changes in internals. I am usning this phone with othe carrier and internet is not working as I have to change the settings since the current settings are for TMobile.

When I try to use the internet applications I can see "E" sign next to reception bars, but internet or any other java application is not working.
