Is there anyway to turn off 3g on this phone?  Due to the tower upgrade going on in my area, any phone with a 3g connection is not working in my town sigh.  Thanks!

I believe 3g is the actual network and not really a phone setting.

The phone is really just a 3g compatible phone.  So no, I don't think so.

I would definitely call T-mobile and tell them you want a credit to your account for the amount of time you lost on the phone.
