Here are some questions I am left with after a day of owning this phone.

Does using the AIM app count towards texting or data?  I have a data plan.

Does email count as texting?  (I think it does, is there a way around this stupid ass setup?) like a diff. app?

can I add shortcuts to my added apps/games to the widget bar?  I want to add a link to the calculator and opera mini on my widget bar.

I believe IM apps and the Email app both count toward the texting, but I am not 100% on that. There is no way to add individual apps to your widget bar. What ever the phone came with is what you are stuck with. The closest you are going to get is the Games and Apps shortcut on the bar.

ok I found out that IM and Email both count as text messaging, which pisses me off more than anything.  Now I can no longer get by with the 400 txt plan.    Today, I switched to a $19.99/mo for 100MB data and unlimited messaging, I just need to figure out how to get my phone to work with it.

Shouldn't have any problem getting your phone to work with that plan. I have the 5.99 T-zones and it works just fine.

It does work now, for some reason it wouldn't do it in my dorm room.  But now that I got it once, it works in my dorm room.  Internet on a $19.99 plan with unlimited texting.  Tmo.com says I have unlimited data not 100MB as the plan states.   Everyone should be jumping on this to save $$$, however they will probably start blocking it.
